1. Data controller

2. Your inputs in the calculators

All inputs in the calculators (e.g. gross salary, consumption figures) are processed exclusively locally in your browser. They are not transmitted to a server, not stored, and not shared with third parties. The language you choose is stored locally in your browser (localStorage) so it persists on your next visit; this value never leaves your device and is not analysed.

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is served through Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). On each request Cloudflare processes technical access data such as IP address, date and time, requested URL, volume of data transferred, referrer and browser/device type, in order to deliver the page and ensure network and attack security and trouble-free operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Processing may take place in the USA; Cloudflare relies on the EU Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework for this (cloudflare.com/privacypolicy). No server log files are kept beyond those generated by Cloudflare.

4. Analytics

Cloudflare Web Analytics is used to measure traffic (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). The service works without cookies and without identifiers stored on or read from your device; consent under § 165(3) TKG 2021 or § 25 TDDDG is therefore not required. Only aggregated information is evaluated, such as the page requested, referrer, browser and device type, country of origin and technical load times. There is no cross-device recognition, no profiling and no combination with other data. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in a statistical evaluation of usage (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); for possible transfers to the USA, section 3 applies.

5. Cookies and advertising

This website sets no cookies. The only local storage is the language preference described in section 2. No advertising services are embedded, and there is no profiling and no sharing with ad networks. If advertising (e.g. Google AdSense) is added in future, a consent banner (consent management) will be put in place first that only loads the relevant cookies and scripts after your active consent; this privacy policy will then be extended accordingly.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection to the processing of your personal data. Contact the address given in the legal notice. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority – in Austria the Data Protection Authority (dsb.gv.at), in Germany the state authority responsible for your place of residence.

This privacy policy is updated as needed, in particular when new services are added. The version published on this page applies.
